Martin's Performing Artist series neck gives you amazing playability
Whether you need to survive long recording sessions or plan to play out late into the night, you'll be glad you have a Martin OMCPA1 Plus acoustic guitar. The OMCPA1 Plus features one of Martin's amazing Performing Artist series necks. The slim profile is easy on your hand, allowing you to play marathon gigs in total comfort.
Spruce and rosewood - the dynamic duo of tonewoods
You just can't beat the sound of solid spruce and solid genuine rosewood. With the OMCPA1 Plus, Martin spared no expense on tonewoods. You'll love the crisp sound of the OMCPA1 Plus's solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, and they look fantastic. What's more, the OMCPA1 Plus is topped with solid Sitka spruce, adding rich and mellow overtones. When you imagine what an acoustic guitar is supposed to sound like, this is it!
Fishman F1 + electronics for rich, natural sound and superior feedback resistance
Equipping these axes with the Fishman F1 + electronics, Martin takes the acoustic-electric on an evolutionary journey. Far more than a simple pickup system, the F1 + combines high-end acoustic sound images, an onboard digital tuner, a compressor, a phase control, an EQ, and anti-feedback control. In short, it's everything that you need to be in complete control of your onstage sound. Coupled with the tonewood selection, this is truly a huge step forward for amplified acoustic guitar. That's the Performing Artist OMCPA1 Plus, a well-balanced instrument that's great for any style of music.
Embracing the past, while looking to the future - it's a tightrope act, but Martin has always been able to pull it off. That's why they've consistently been a leader in acoustic guitar design, infusing their guitars with new materials, building techniques, and technologies - while producing fine instruments that age with grace to become highly sought-after, highly playable heirlooms.

Now that that’s all done. Antonia Rose’s spin on what’s inside the case.
The voice of this model Martin is extremely well-told on the YouTube web site.
This instrument was purchased as a new instrument from a famous NYC Martin dealer who is closing their doors after 45 years. It was displayed for customers to touch and play. The owner of this amazing boutique shop was very picky and did not let customers past the coat-rack with any wearable objects that could in any way bruise, chip or diminish the beauty of the instruments on display. Once in our shop it is not on display. This instrument was rarely played. However, we did notice a very few light scratches on the back. Yes, we believe with a very light buffing they will be gone. Absolutely no dings. All Martin “new guitar tags” are safely stowed in the case. Our internet sale instruments are never displayed nor offered for sale through our retail store. It patiently awaits its new owner.
Of course we had to check everything out. Ran it straight into a Yamaha DXR12 PA cabinet. The Fishman F1 Aura has, phase, 3 image presets, and “Dry Pickup” options, all very pleasing. For the adventurous “Performance Mode” brings you access to an extensive set of tone shaping controls. Tons of depth, richness, airiness, you know that cathedral sound if you desire. The tone control on this guitar really does its job. The neck feel is very comfortable. I wish this profile was available on all Martin solid rosewood models, without going through the custom order/wait process. This wonderful guitar does not come on the cheap. But consider how many guitars one goes through before arriving at a place when both the musician and instrument bring out the best in each other. The zone.
This instrument is made by a legendary America builder for the purpose of performing. Its sonic splendor will plant the seeds of aural inhibition to all those that stand before you.
